Pricing
Paid for by members, not advertisers.
You pay with money, not with your attention. There is no advertising in Cirluma, nothing is ranked to keep you scrolling, and private Circle content is not used to sell anything to anyone.
How it works.
Start with a free trial
Create a Circle, bring in what you have and see whether it holds your history properly, before deciding anything.
Then a subscription
Paid by whoever created the Circle. It covers the private service and the storage of everything the Circle holds.
Credits for creation
Restoring, reframing, Likeness and 360 each produce a new created version. That work has a real cost, so it is bought separately.
Everyone else takes part without a subscription of their own. A Circle of forty costs its owner the same as a Circle of four, because the person who remembers the most should never be a billing decision.
What the subscription covers.
- The private Circle itself, and everyone invited into it
- Storage for the photos, prints, documents and recordings it holds
- Albums, timelines, People and the record of who contributed what
- The desktop workspace and the phone app, on one account
- Member roles and permissions, set by the Circle’s owner
Credits buy creation, and nothing else.
Each of these produces a new version alongside the preserved source. You see the exact cost before you confirm it, never an estimate and never afterwards.
- Restoring a damaged or faded photo
- Reframing a photo for the format a print or frame needs
- Preserving a reviewed Likeness of a person at a particular age
- Building a 360 view of a place from several photos of it
Contributing is not metered.
Most members of a Circle never create anything. They add a name, a date, a story, a voice. Metering that would tax exactly the behaviour the product exists to encourage, so none of it draws on credits.
- Being invited to a Circle and taking part in it
- Writing down what you remember
- Recording a story in your own voice
- Naming a person in a photo
- Suggesting a date or a place
- Commenting, correcting or adding another account
- Adding photos, captured prints and documents
- Creating albums, and looking and listening
What the numbers are.
Not published yet. The trial length, the subscription price, the storage the subscription carries and what each creation costs in credits are being settled against the finished commercial model, and we would rather show you nothing than show you a figure that changes at checkout.
When they are published, the price shown here will be the price you are charged, in pounds sterling, with VAT shown where it applies. Every creation will show its exact cost before you confirm it.
What we will not do.
No charge per member. Inviting one more person is never a billing decision.
No trial that bills you quietly. The trial ends by telling you it has ended, not by taking a payment.
No cost shown after the fact.Every creation shows its exact credit cost before you confirm it.
No advertising. There is no feed to place advertising in, and private Circle content is not used to target anything at anyone.
No ransom on your own material. If a subscription lapses, the Circle becomes read-only rather than deleted, and the originals stay yours to export.
